I decided to finally post some pics of my haunted tree I made a few weeks ago. He was made of Great Stuff. I still have to do some touch up paint on the hand.

Good Job TearyThunder! How many cans of great stuff did that take? I also like the hands. I was wondering if you have something planned with the eyes and mouth, it looks like you see through them, or have a light shine through them.

Thanks HJ!
Yeah I have a blue light in it. My camera takes crappy photos without the flash so it's hard to see. I think I used 6 cans. I got the $3.00 spray foam from walmart instead of the name brand Great Stuff.

Thanks Grapegrl! Getting the latex paint in between the cracks for the base coats was a little time consuming. My hands and several paint brushes were wore out by the time I was done. lol

Looks pretty cool, Teary. What would be even cooler is to have a realistic mannequin head in one of those hands with a headless dummy at the roots and fake blood splashed all over the tree trunk. Talk about a REAL spooky tree and one no dog in the neighborhood will frequent. :googly:

I really like that! Great job on the paint...The attention to detail really paid off.

LOL Sin you're probably right. It would have been better but I would hate to scare the jeebies out of myself with it.
Thanks Dr M, So far it's one of my favorite props.....but I still have more to make so that may change.
Now this is a class A project. Really wonderful bark detail, good face and proper proportions all the way round. Well done TT. Explain this part please>>>>"Getting the latex in between the cracks for the base coats was a little time consuming."

Ooops sorry about that Vlad I meant latex paint.(Fixed it)
Thanks for the compliment too. I can't take credit for the texture though. That was all great stuff there. All I had to do is spray it on.
