Hey gang,

We are proud to announce a solution for accessing, reading, and posting to HauntForum via an easy-to-use mobile app... Tapatalk (http://www.tapatalk.com/)!

TAPATALK FEATURES
These are the features available to users of the Tapatalk Forum App (other apps may feature more or less features):

Access to 10,000+ forums... in addition to HauntForum (all clients support this)
Multiple Forum Accounts
Unread and Participated Topics
Topic Subscription
Online Users Display
Create / Reply / Edit Topics
Private Messaging
Attach / Download Images

HOW THIS WORKS
In order to use Tapatalk, you need to download and install an app to your phone. Do a search in your device's store (marketplace, whatever-it's-called) for "Tapatalk" or "Tapatalk Client." There are apps for Android, iPhone/iPad, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7, and Web OS.

Once you have downloaded and installed an app, you will then need to search for HauntForum within the app and add us as a forum you would like to subscribe to.

On your first visit you will be asked for your username and password so you can log in.

Then that's it! You can browse the forums easily and conveniently from your mobile device without squinting your eyes to see tiny text in a web browser. How cool is that?

Can you tell us if the site's features are better suited to Talkatap or Forum Runner? I am going to get one but haven't decided. thanks

The various apps available all have different levels of support in regards to what forum features are available. My recommendation would be to read some reviews on them.

Being I don't have a mobile device that runs the Forum Runner app, I can't really comment on it. However, I do use the Tapatalk app and it supports many of the necessary features and is being updated all the time to support more.

I'm running the Tapatalk forum App on my iPhone and iPad. Love it!

Good to know! I love it as well.

Must be an issue with the Blackberry version, because it works fine with the Android version.

got an android phone today and downloaded Convo Tapatalk Client, works fine it seems but i cant see "sticky" topics, including this one, hence im typing on my computer. Anyone know if this is just an annoying point of the free version?

Not sure why you can't see "stickys ". They show up with a small thumbtack on mine. I'm sending this from Tapatalk now. I have the paid version, so maybe that's the difference.

Gothic Candle,

Perhaps its a bug in the convo application. I'm not sure why a sticky wouldn't show up.

I use the Tapatalk Forum App (the one that costs $2.99) and they show up to me.

It works on my Android tablet, but it's not as pretty as the forum looks on a browser..but then again my screen is 10".

Anyone know how to get embedded vids to show on a browser in Android?

I'm sending this from my android and it's okay in a pinch. I still prefer the greater flexibility of my laptop.

Cool option Zombie-F! This is the first that I've read about it.

As the first of this year my employer has made even more internet restrictions and no more Haunt Forum at work for me. Those corporate bastards! This is an excellent option for us people that cannot get online at work. Now, if I can only convince my tired eyes to stare at that tiny iphone screen then I'll download the app.

The app is great I have been using it on the iPhone and iPad for months. It is simple and stable.

I do seem to remember not getting full functionality from the free version, too. I think it limited picture uploads.

While I prefer a full screen on a laptop or desktop, the Tapatalk app works fine for following any forum supported. I use it to glance at HauntForum, look up information movie forums, etc. It's what I am using right now.

Yeah, the free versions do have limitations. But as I said when I announced this, you get what you pay for. $5 isn't much to get all the bells and whistles.

My next cell is going to be a Galaxy S II and I am super excited to hear this!
I do 8hr shifts in patient's homes or facilities for Hospice. I generally bring books and magazines, but to be able to go on my forums will be fantastic!
Believe me, being subject to a marathon of Say Yes To The Dress can be scarier than any Haunt!
