North TX/OK July make and take

I wanted to host a make and take at my house this month, in fact this weekend is when my children are going to their grandparents, but unfortunately my older brother passed away yesterday so I will be attending his wake this weekend. I didn't want you all to think I had forgotten you. I would still love to get together some time this month though. Dose anyone have any ideas?

The only projects I am working on are some tombstones and jack-0-lanterns but I'd be ok with a gathering to chat and work on my carvings.
I have an appointment Saturday the 23rd in the afternoon but other than that I don't really have any plans.

Well, my parents are taking the kids for an extra weekend so we could have a M'n'T on Sunday here .

I know that Jaybo and I can't 2dragon, I'm sorry - for the next 2 or 3 weekends we are chained to my parents while we try and get my grandparents house finished and up for sale. Mom wants it over and done with before the end of summer, so we are down to crunch time :(

I apparently haven't been watching this area very closely. I don't know what kind of MnT you were thinking, but I don't think we have many available. I'm inclined to wait til Aug.

I don't know if Erebus has been online at all but I can reach him on his facebook page if we decide to do something.

There is an option in the "Go Advanced" button for "e-mail notification" if you subscribe to a thread. Maybe we should start an August Make and Take thread when it gets closer to August. That way we don't miss any postings if we "subscribe" to the thread.
I know there are times I forget to look at the Make and Take forum. Just a suggestion.

We have the same option in the social group. You can get a notification if somebody postst there. I think that is why that kind of didn't work well. If you don't subscribe, you have to go in and check it.

Yay. Ill be there. Thanks Carolyn for looking out for me. I just put a countdown on my phone until halloween and when it hit 100 days, it made me want to decorate so I am doing mine at my parents this year (plus, if I need anything, its an excuse to make them pay for it :D). Lets get something soon cause its been a long time since ive seen yall.
