We will be doing corpsing at our next M&T. You will need an item(s) to corpse skulls, bones, etc.. large cotton balls, liquid latex or waterproof glue, black and brown paint and wood stain.

NOOOOO...run for it!!! We did corpsing INSIDE at my house and by dinner time there weren't 4 functioning brain cells between the 12 of us here!!!

Just kidding (kind of). I hope you guys have a great M&T. Don't forget to post pics. I can't do anymore until December, so I'll be looking for pics from all of them.

We will be in a garage... so it's now a rain or shine event.

Yes, I have a 5ft Skeleton to demo it on. I got it from Walgreens for $30.00. I will pick up some 7 mil plastic from Lowes before the meeting. If we have time after "regular" corsping, I can demo it for the group (I have a heat gun).

The only concern I had was that the plastic on this skeleton is NOT thick. I emailed the guy at Stillbeast studioes (AllenH on Hauntforum) to see if he thought the plastic of the skeleton would melt before the 7 mil. He said it should not be a problem, but if I wanted I could wrap the skeleton section (i.e. rib cage) a few times in 7 mil plastic before heat shrinking it.

Guys let me know if this sounds good.

Hey guys yesterday we meet a guy who was selling his props because of legal reasons. But we got so really good props. Anyway we were telling him about the make & take & he wants to come check it out. I gave him the address & he said he would like to come. Also the weather permitting we can do it on the deck or in the garage. either way we'll have Hamburgers & hot dogs for lunch. I will see you all Sat oh by the way What time?

We usually start at 10 a.m. Hamburger and hot dogs sound great. Can I make a pasta salad to bring with me?

Talked to Mark/Devil about the water-resistant gluse to get. He said Elmer's wood glue (tan/teal color) is the one to get. Here is a picture.

Hope this clarifies things

The plastic corpsing technique looks neat - especially if you're going for volume. I'm glad I got a bag of bones - hoping to try out both.
