North TX/OK Make n Take

What are the chances we could get another Make n Take or Drink n Think together before Halloween? I'm free every weekend. (Sad view on my social life) I would offer to host a Make n Take if anyone wanted to make the trip. I've got three rooms to put anybody up. Or I'll be glad to make the trip down. I don't have any major builds planned, just alot of catch-up work. Any ideas?

I have to work on some stuff for my nephew's wedding. It is halloween related.

I have been working long hours and haven't wanted to do anything on the weekends. Don't know if I am up to more than a drink-and-think. UGH! Motivation....I need motivation! (or a different job that doesn't wear me out so much..is there such a thing?)

I will have to sleep on it and respond tomorrow. As of right now, its 23:15, I'm taking a quick break from making a billion hands, while Jaybo finishes up some additions to our columns, and I'm just in total panic mode. Ugh, need more time in every weekend day/night!!!!!!

Someday maybe we could consider a camping weekend somewhere between DFW and OKC.

Maybe we could do a D&T somewhere like Denton? I'm not sure of my open weekends. my daughters are popping in on some weekends. I think I'm available next weekend but not the one after.

Sounds like it will be a Drink N Think. Is there another Zombiepalooza planned, or is that a once a year thing? As I said, I'm pretty open, so does anyone want to throw a date out there?

Also, I picked this up at a thrift store for 10 bucks. She's like the one I used for my Sam. If anyone wants her I can bring her down. She's 30 in.tall. She would take a size 2 red sleeper. I'll keep my eyes open for one, but they are hard to find. I have some burlap, but it's green. I don't want to offer her on the forum because I don't want to deal with finding a box and shipping her. Otherwise I'll just make another Sam.

I can't host anything (or anyone)...but expect to be able to meet up with yall that evening. I'll be at the game and fair earlier in the day, so my attendence will depend upon my daytime consumption. (I'm a designated passenger.)

You might even consider Friday...which is more fun...but a bit more rowdy.

I'm hesitant to commit to anything, I'm afraid. I have been very sick for most of September with severe allergies turned to sinus infection, so I will really be scrambling from here on out just to get things finished in time. We normally put everything up October1, so its crunch time. :(

So it sounds like the Oct. 8th is a no go. With sickness, the game, and the busy Halloween schedules I don't think many can make it. Besides, it will be hard for you guys to sit and have drinks with Darklore and I after Oklahoma beats Texas on Sat.. Just saying. :D

good grief, Dixie. My hubby had that and it took him a month before he was even close to recovering.

You take it easy...I know it is difficult with the display but better we have Dixie than a halloween display.

Gah, it's so hard! My brain is like "GO GO GO" and my body is like.... zzzzzzz.

But I'm being good, I have been back at work for 2 days now - only working 4 hours at a time, then sleeping the rest of the day, LOL. Luckily I had made 6 stones earlier in the year but as for the rest of it, whoosh. :D

If she teeters on the border of healthy and pnuemonia...she might make for a good zombie display. Just sayin. Dixie - if your back is turned and you see Jaybo creeping up behind you with a bucket of monster mud, I'd use the remaining energy to get a head start.

I've been on a journey of college games the past few weeks. I'm not sure the next one will top seeing Oklahoma thrash ut again, but it should still be fun. I'll be helping out on FCG builds late this coming weekend. But I can possibly make it to a pub next weekend if anyone is up for it.
