looks great and you're right. If a person was only going to make one moving prop...the FCG needs to be the one. Simple to make, fairly cheap and everyone loves it...the tots, mothers, fathers and the old folks.

I love it Colin. I can't wait to see it finished!
Mad max you are right everyone should try it. I was even able to accomplish a FCG and I'm a dummy when it comes to building.

Very well done colinsuds. That is one of the better looking FCG puppets and lighting jobs I have seen in a while.

Way to go Colin. I love him. Are you going to do the LED eyes? I'm only asking because I think he looks great without them. I might not put mine on this year either as I think they look more like ghosts without them...Thanks for sharing!

I didn't do LED eyes. I like having black eyes on mine.
Anyone know what kind of fishing line I need? The stuff I bought last year glowed  I want to buy some line for my fcg and an axworthy ghost.

I use SpiderWire. It is nearly invisible and incredibly strong. If you do use spiderwire I would wax the eye-hooks a bit to keep the line from cutting the metal.
Also - do NOT attempt to break spiderwire with bare hands - it WILL CUT YOU.

mental note: don't try to pull apart spiderwire

Hey roadkill, did you use black or green spiderwire? I was going to buy some online but wasn't sure which color would be best. (thanks for the tip about the wax, any suggestions for what type?)
