hopefully i will get a scary terrys servo controller board to control him instead of by a remote control but looks like i may get one for christmas o well ready for next year with a whole new act
Prop info:
servo/ remote controlled moving jaw
all recycled
on 4-5 hours building time
1 person job but a helping hand is usefull
and its fun for all ages

i had a neighbour who id never met compliment it when it went out for testing in the front yard and i had a group of 9-13 yrs olds amazed at it singing all american rejects- dirty little secret

I met Grim in the chat room yesterday. He is 14 years old and making complicated servo motor driven animatronic props. That is awesome.

Elmo looks great. Keep it comin'

Yeah thanks for sharing that slimy, now i feel like a complete dolt. Im already prop challenged and now ya gotta remind me that a 14yr old is doing them better, LOL. Good for you though grim, you did an excellent job.

I like him GR. You did a great job!

Turtle, I'm challenged as well. I want to run and hide when a sevros or LEDs are even mentioned lol.

Here's another technically challenged haunter checking in. Static props and lilve actors for me...any mention of servos and programming sends me running to the corner wimpering. Nice job Grim...keep sending pictures of your work. It's nice to see the next generation creating props.

First, get a hold of heresjohnny an ask him how he did it. If you are good at electronics he has it on his webpage.

Here is where I saw the thread at.
