Spiders mound…how to?

I decided to add a spider’s mound to my haunt fallowing a suggestion by Lilly and after “rescuing” one of my daughters old dolls from the garbage yesterday. I made a quick victim out of the doll last night and I’m now wondering how to do the spiders mound.

I have some chicken wire and I’m thinking of forming a “mound” with it, rapping it with cheese cloth and web, like I did the doll, and throwing some leafs sticks and twigs on it. I also bought a pack of little spiders at the store last night which I will place all over the mound. Do you guys and gals think that would look OK and, can you think of anything which would enhance the effect?

Egg sacks, I'm ading a spider room this year too.

For the scare, the egg sacks will fall from the ceiling onto the group.

maybe use a little more of the leafs for your mound and have the nest sticking out
also some kind of illumination so the litle spiders may be seen at night ...sry i dont remember is this off a lamp post?
