My daughter is ape about halloween, and Scooby Doo...so when I saw this broken doll house on sale at Hobby Lobby for $15, I had an idea. Here it is before and after.... I'm working on the interior now.
also, we're going to do a "scooby doo mystery hunt" at our party this year for the kids. I picked up these "treasure chests" for $1 a piece at Micheal's...then painted them. We're going to put candy and prizes in them and hide them in our "haunt".
Last is a 2 inch by 1 1/2 inch portrait of Capt. Cutler for the haunted doll house. Woot!

Scooby never ceases to entertain. When my boy was younger and we just got gamecube - he and I sat for hours playing one of the Scooby games.

Does that bookcase open?

hehehe

Awesome, awesome job!
I've just stumbled upon the world of Halloweenish Dollhouses and miniatures. It's an incredible world, if you all ever want something a bit smaller to turn your attentions to people...I'm awestruck by it all! I've been dreaming in mini!

I like it so much I'm going to go with the color theme in my yard haunt. Hell, I can't seem to make things look real, so maybe I'll have more luck with a cartoon look???

That really did turn out fantastic. Great work.

Ortherwordly, those really were some interesting posts, but dont you think that perhaps they are obseessing a bit about an event that really only comes once a year... um,... never mind.

It's also going to do double duty as a center piece for our party this year. Zoikes!
