I like this one a lot, great expression of pain and suffering. It seems like you should have posted a few more shots though...

Yes, I am curious about that too..how was the head made?

Hey thanks you guys for the kind words. I have a few pics of some of the making of it but havent had any time to upload them to the computer. The head and body are modified duct tape doubles of a few of my skeleton props. Them paper towel mache over that and about five coats of drybrush. For the head I basically modified the shape and facial expression of it -the jaw and the rest of the head were two pieces so I could change the look. The teeth are actually made from dried grape vine knuckles(the part of the vine that bends at an angle) Top of the head is actually open. I had put roots in it but it looked very "witch dr/voodoo" to me, which I didn't really want. So I took it out and left it empty for now.

The corn patch is down the street from my house! One side is nice, live corn and the other side looks like that. One of the advantages of living in Manteca. Here are a couple more shots in the park we went to after the corn patch. :jol:

Whoa! Is there no end to the things one can do with duct tape? Very creative..I am going to have to try that. Sounds like duct tape holds shape pretty well.

Yeah, Dr Morbius. I personally love Duct tape. It has Many other uses in addition to haunting ;)

It holds shape pretty well. The ribcage didn't take at all so I had to do the detail work with the mache. Gawd, I can't even remember how many coats of mache I used. But it was ALOT. I was gonna do a tutorial but didn't get the middle pics and got lazy. My fav part is the neck, the muscles. It has a pallet(mouth) also but you can't see much of it in the pics. Had to put that- I used to be a dental tech!

Some of you guys are really demented... this is good.

This looks probably a lot like what a body would look like if it were subject to exposure. That's creepy.

very cool.
