2005 Midwest Haunters Convention Announced!

September 15, 2004, Columbus, Ohio

Mark your calendars! The Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) will be held in Columbus Ohio July 22-24. Plan to attend this exciting event and enjoy a wonderful weekend of festivities: networking, classes, vendors and shopping with the finest in the haunt industry!

While the details are still being formalized, MHC ’05 will again combine a great lineup of seminars, social events, Monster Makeup Wars, Ms Midwest Scary Pageant, and industry vendors from around the country.

Additional in-depth workshops will be offered in conjunction with the 2005 MHC: featuring incredibly talented instructors before and after weekend show. Once again we’ll host a variety of social events not to be missed including the frightfully fun return of Monster Makeup Wars and the Ms. Midwest Scary Pageant!

Anyone going to it?

I'd like to go this year, as I have friends that I AIM from time to time who go to it, but I may not be able to afford the trip this year. See, I'd like to attend my friend's Halloween party, and I think if we go to the convention, it'll definitely be out of the question.

Still, it is 8 months away, and alot can happen in 8 months.

That's who it caters to, but there are things there for the average home haunter, plus it's really fun to wander around and look at all the pro stuff, not to mention the party they throw should be pretty fun. I think they serve liquor at said party, so it may be wise to look into if they cater to the under 21 crowd or not before you go.

With the MHC right around the corner, I thought I'd just *bump* this thread to the top.
