I do plan on completing that someday, but I have not done a lick of work on that thing other then makeing a water sprinkler that pops up 12". Simply has not been time. Thats okay, I hit 4 contest in a row, will be in the next one :)

The challenge ends at the end of the 31st. So, when the clock strikes 12:00 AM ringing in April 1st, that means the contest is over. All times are Eastern Daylight Time.

Unfortunately the camera didn't see the blacklight detail, but here's a movie. This prop was made to be in black light, and looks awesome in person. The eye sees everything, though! :D

He's a puppet, and his feet are attached to mine through lengths of cardboard connecting our shoes, a rod for the arm with the knife, and the head. The impression is that this 3' tall dwarf is actually walking at you on his own with a moving head and swinging arm! He's actually about 16" in front of me. Waaaay cooooool!

I've been following the posts and watching all the entries come in and I just have to say - WOW!!! Just amazing work everyone. It will be hard to choose between them all. I could, but it would be incredibly disrespectful to people on dialup to have to load all that stuff. Plus, one entry is a video and two need more info to be able to judge them (meaning the electronic projects with just a picture make it unclear as to what it is).

Oh yea, I remember that..when this whole contest thing started, we were talking about prizes, and how we were happy with doing it for just a certificate saying "First place" or something along those lines. We just wanted to do it for fun. I think although the prizes are extraordinary, that spirit remains. I like the idea of giving participation certificates out, but that would be up to Zombie.

It took me like 2 hours to finally decide on 3! But I guess I wasn't the only one. What a selection!

I really wanted to enter but have been having crazy work hours, and then we were without a computer for a week. Guess the tide was just against me this year. But after looking at all these great creations I am just glad to be in such superb company!

It took me a couple days off and on of looking at everything. Then I had an intitial narrow down. Than another narrow down. Then I had to download the photos and look at them back and forth. It was not easy.
