Advice Please

I was considering doing a free one hour halloween related lecture at a local library or possibly contacting the local school to see if they would include me in their fall adult learning classes with a prop project.

What do you guys think of the idea? What would you guys suggest for topics to discuss or props to make?

My suggestion would be if your topic is prop building, try and host this at a Michael's or some other crafts type store or even a local community center. You may get more interest in such a thing that way since it could tie in with the arts and crafts nature of such places.

If I were to do a Halloween lecture at a library, I'd try and educate people about the Holiday and it's history and try to dispel a good many of the urban legends surrounding it... maybe have a Q and A session to go along with that.
