Just so everyone knows, since Bodybagging donated to the prize pool, the entry that Palerider and BB created won't be in the voting. However, it was so totally awesome that I wanted to include showing it because it is an amazing display of what you can make on less than a $20 budget.

Glad that everyone appreciates the Prop, Ill be sure to pass on the good news to Palerider when I see him, for those questions about realism and texures, all I can say is its amazing what a little bit of Latex and rasp can do, Thats the BEST thing about whitestyrofoam, its shaves very easy!

Textures were created using a brush stroke to create woodgrain, and a stipple stroke to create worked iron.

Bags, you and Rider should really consider making props for those who don't want to try and do it themselves. :D What you 2 made is just ..... AWESOME! I'm still speechless! :> LOL and inspired! ;)

That looks fantastic. I'm with Icky, I couldn't figure the how to out til you posted additional pictures. Do you have a theme haunt, or how do you plan to use it. I see a civil war theme with the spirts of the dead walking among a battle scene.

Bodybagging
03-29-2007, 04:17 PM
Actually Scareme, we are producing a Private party with a theme of pirates, civil war cannons were different in many aspects, Im sure Palerider could elaborate more on that subject, we fashioned these after a ships cannon.
for the party we will be creating the tailend and side of a Pirate ship, as close to scale as possible. this lucky host will be having the best of the best when we break out the Illusions for his party!
