I meant to comment on this earlier but forgot...
Anyone see the Comedy Central Bar Mitzvah special? You'd think they could have shown at least a little love to one of the shows that helped get them started and put them on the map, Mystery Science Theater 3000. Sure, it wasn't a ratings powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination, but at the time it debuted on the network, it most certainly was the only thing worth watching. Reruns of Standup Spotlight certainly weren't igniting the airwaves.
The only mention of the show is on the timeline (http://www.comcentral.com/tv_shows/barmitzvah/time.jhtml) presented on the Comedy Central web site... and they only mention it because it won them a Peabody award.
