Material List
Post- Free
Walmart Skeleton- 10
PVC- Honestly, I dont know, but with the elbow I'll call it 2 dollars
Zip Ties- 1.00
Foam bone- 50 cents, including glue
Chains- $4
Nails and toothpicks- 1.00
Paint- $5
Total - $23.50
Basically, I nailed the skeleton to the post. The post is left over from building my fence (real fence). Then i drilled a few holes in a 1/2" PVC elbow and nailed that on behind the skeletons head. Then I nailed his hand on top. I carved and sanded the bone from beaded white foam, and attached the chains with toothpicks. The other side of the chains were polyurethane glued onto the sign section. I made a stencil out of cardstock that said 105 N. Tower with an x-acto knife. I used that to spray paint onto the sign, eating away the letters. Then I painted it in 2 different grays and the letters black. It isnt amazing, but Im quite satisfied.:xbones:
