Private message issue...

Hi all, I know I'm just a newbie, but how/why is it that my inbox only allows one message?
I got an email stating that a member tried to send me a message, and my inbox was full... but the only message in there is the "Welcome to" message. My PM box is listed as 100% full with one message in it.

Help please!

Yes, what Sickie said... If you have been sending pm's and don't uncheck the "save a copy in my sent folder" box, you will have all of your space used up. :)

I got this really wierd PM today from some dude spouting off about einstein and crap. I really dont know why he would send me such a retarded message but he did. Rambled on with einstien quotes and stuff, I think I busted a few extra brain cells I may need later just trying to understand it.

The issue here is that we've seen LOTS of new members who join, NEVER publicly post and treat our PM service as their own personal e-mail service to talk to haunters, usually asking prop questions that could be searched for on the forum. I have set it up so newbies with less than ten posts can only have one message stored in their inboxes... that being the introductory message sent by me to every new member.

So, once you reach 10 posts, your PM capabilities will be unlocked. The script that unlocks this feature runs about once an hour, so keep in mind it may take up to an hour after you hit 10 posts to see the feature enabled.

If you guys get these, I hope you are reporting them. Nonsensical PM's are a violation of forum rules, and Zombie needs to know about them ASAP so he can properly deal with it.....but I feel left out! I never got that PM...:(

I did some research on ole Albert there one time, and before his death he was trying to design and build a machine to be used to talk to the dead. He was a firm believer in an after life just not heaven or hell, he thought that we are ALL made up of energy, and you can NEVER totally destroy energy no matter what. Which I do agree, and in many areas of our realm of learning this has been noted as a fact.

Who knows, perhaps Einstein and Edison had they lived long enough would have made that machine a reality instead of a long ago now scrapped project....

I know this is off subject, just thought maybe Id share that with ya all if you didnt know it already.

No, its all true. I just added that in there because in an earlier post someone was talking about Einstien coming back and sending text messages or some shit about Budda being the only real god or something, hell I dunno, I kinda space out about half the time.
