What's the most valuable propbuilding skill that you bring to the table?

I guess mine is soldering and the ability to read a schematic. Without those two skills, none of my electronic props would do anything.

I wish I could paint better, but my artistic style has never been too strong in any areas.

Mine would be dreaming up the ideas in my head. As for actually doing them...

Hmmmm... most valuable skill...

Painting, carving, designing. I can plan the crap out of something; sometimes to the point of over-kill. I can put all of the pieces together and turn a wrench pretty quickly when needed. I am very detailed oriented and research a lot for realism.

Now, least valuable skill.... woodworking. Thank God my hubby is so understanding. He has saved my butt more times than I can count.

I am like Zombie. I used to work for Motorola fixing cell phones so I am good at Electronics. The art part is what gets me. While building my crypt, and at the painting stage, I had to paint over and over and over till I got it right. I guess that is how I am going to get good at art. Now, lets talk about taking someones idea for a prop? LOL.

I'd been starting to wonder if I had any skills because I certainly am electronics stupid, and I don't really have good woodworking skills (probably because I'm impatient) but I think I've finally found my skill! Coming up with great ideas that are way beyond my skills and means!! LOL
