Stylized mausoleum shape. 1" dia PVC with 3/8" wood screws. 2 ft sections of rebar hold up the four corner posts that are twisted into the ground. 5.5 ft deep 4.5 ft wide. see video commentary for more descriptions. ToT's walking through the archway start at 5:45 min.
Show & tell video was taken immediately following our Halloween Yard Haunt prior to dismantling. The unscripted prop descriptions are as complete as time would allow. Hopefully informative for first-time yard haunters. Video Oct 31, 2006.

I like your display... It's Abstract, and it really draws people to it...mesmerizing.

Thanx from the complement! It was a bit of a mess. The life-sized PVC props in the front didn't have floodlights and the flying ghost & and iPod speaker batteries were dead. But for putting it up on the day and the first big haunt we did it worked out better than I thought it did once I started looking at the videos. I'm glad the stylized mausoleum archway tunnel idea came together. It's really a psyschyophrenic idea inspired by a little bit of this a little bit of that. Somehow it works. Maybe because I didn't try to dress it up a lot and I let the blacklight effect do the talking so to speak. Without the blacklight it's a bunch of bedsheet strips hanging from black PVC.

Cool videos, I watched most of them. Your archway inspired my awning project.

Thanx. Yeah some videos are repetitive to keep the subject matter separate depending on what people are interested in. Thanx for watching! That's good to hear. I'm glad I can give back to this forum somehow.
