I wanted to show off the Blue Zombie I just finished and dressed.

He was made using a little bit of everything and every technique. PVC pipe and latex and paper towels and paper mache and celluclay and hot glue and sculpt or coat and twine and rope (for muscles and veins).

He has red LED eyes that light up at night when I plug in his battery.

I am quite fond of him.

As you should be. Such a strapping, healthy, undead decayed lad... I'd certainly be proud to declare him part of my family. Congratulations.
Love that pose & expression by the way. As a long time zombie fanatic I gotta say that's just beautiful!

Thanks, pyro.
Thanks, Revenant. I made several partial zombies this year, but he is my first full body one.
Thanks, slimy and Lagrousome, I really like dry brushing. I've had the best luck with it over anything else.
Thanks, ScareShack, the first thing I made was the face.
Thanks, Haunted Bayou, I like how the pics came out. I added a little glow in photoshop in the Black and White pic.
Thanks, slightlymad.

He's nasty looking.....I love it!!
I think the using a little bit of everything worked out great for this prop. Excellent job. Gives me some inspiration for my corpsing for this weekend. Yes I know I'm running out of time.

I like the veiny look. That's some pretty heft PVC pip you used there.

Talk about hard work! You did fantastic! I'd love a pic with the eyes lit up, too. How will it hold up for moisture? I really like the rope underneath for veins.

You guys are great. The encouragement really helps.
I will take some night pics of the eyes, Sickie.
He should hold up to the weather, I coated him with many coats of various paints, including exterior house paint. i think I might have even spar varnished him (but I can't remember at this moment).

An amazing job, love the texturing. Would like to know what you started with to make the head, it looks like foam to me.

Oh yeah. Looks really great. He's all bumpy. Makes me want to touch him and yet not touch him because it's a bit repulsive.

Go ahead, touch him.
I like your They Might Be Giants quote... I was just humming that the other day while I was making props btw.

Well, my Blue Zombie made it to the front yard for Halloween.
And it looks like he brought a baby zombie with him (couldn't find a sitter).
