Hey boils and ghouls! It's time once again to figure out when we're meeting and what we're doing. Trishaanne is all for doing nothing, phhhhhhht, lol. The rest of the group feels it would be a very bad thing to have me around with nothing to do but amuse myself, hehehehe. So what are we doing??? Maybe another field trip to Harbor Freight?? Terrorize the poor saleswoman at radio Shack again?????

There are New Jersey State Troopers stationed at both Harbor Freight and Radio Shack so we'll have to find another store to go to. Your picture is up on both doors with a red circle and a line going through it! And if there is a road trip involved I'm NOT going if Donna is driving...no way, no how. Sorry, I love ya honey but....DAMN!!!!!! Do we have a date in mind? Cause, I may be mistaken, but it seems as if you guys were just here! :zombie: Keep me posted. The first weekend is out for me but I think things may finally start to slow down after that.

OK, just got off the phone with BlackCat...we are both available December 15 or 29th. Are either of those dates good with anyone else?

slightlymad

Either or is good for me.

Well then how about we try to make it the 29th. That way all the holiday stuff is behind us and we can relax. Oh wait, I forgot who I'm talking to :googly:

Vlad

So what is everyone interested in making?

slightlymad

I thought we were gonna sing xmas carols and play with the household wiring.

Black Cat

Haven't come up with any ideas for prop making yet, but playing with household wiring sounds like fun...............
What are we doing for dinner?????? PotLuck......everyone bring a dish or two???

trishaanne
11-25-2007, 09:44 AM
Touch my wiring and ............ Actually, you'll get a bit zapped, since I still have aluminum wiring in this house. Are we planning on making a list of any major projects we may want to do for next year? If so, I'll try to start thinking of anything I may be able to use but can't build on my own. NO COMMENTS VLAD!!!

We can do something simple for dinner, like sloppy joes and fries, spaghetti and meatballs, etc, or I can act like a proper hostess and make you a nice holiday dinner and you guys can bring dessert. Either way is fine with me. Just let me know.

I havent nailed down my projects list either. MMMM i know what you need to build have to see if we have any batteries for it. :> Spaghetti sounds great. Vlad and I should bring torches and have fun with that block of foam we all been staring at.

trishaanne
11-29-2007, 05:12 PM
Stay away from that block of foam. That's my project for next Halloween, lol.

I have an idea for a project, not for this meeting but for one of them. I want to make one of the flying crank ghost marrionette puppet things, like the one on Merlins site on Hauntproject. What do ya think?

slightlymad
11-29-2007, 06:56 PM
Thats what you said last year.

Cool

Vlad

I think a flying crank ghost can be costly, but is a highly effective prop, and one that I'd love to own also. I'm working on a parts list now, and we'll discuss all the options involved at the meeting.
As for now, and since hopefully my friends will be there this time, I'd suggest finishing off those headstones to start with.

The one I want to do isn't a FCG, it's the puppet type thingy on the pvc or backpack frame. We have tons of the PVC here, just have to make the arms and stuff. I saw it on hauntproject.com, Merlin I believe is the one who's was posted with the pictures. Guess I'll just have to show it to you when you get here, since I can't exactly remember what the hell it's called. I'd also like to make a real FCG, just figured that may be a bit too complicated to work on once the Jack Daniels starts flowing, LOL.

Ah, you're looking for a stalker outfit. Early estimates here, with you wearing it, put it's finally height eye to eye with me, lol, heehee.

Have we decided what we're doing about dinner next week? Is it a pot-luck? A covered dish? Am I making dinner again? Someone let me know so I don't spend all my Christmas money on stupid stuff instead of food for you nice :googly: people!

trishaanne

I was thinking, how about something simple. I can make up a big pan of baked ziti, some meatballs and garlic bread, someone else can bring salad and someone dessert. Sound good?

slightlymad
12-21-2007, 08:07 PM
Well I screwed up the salad last month so I got desert. Gonna start working on the project list this weekend and Vlad and I could put wheels on the air compressor.

Black Cat

Ok, I have the Homemade Penne already for the Make and Take. We just have to bake it at Patty's house. I'll make some meatballs and sauce to go along with it. I also have a ton of cookies which I've been baking so I'm sure I can put together a platter to bring. I'll get a hold of the newbies coming this make and take and see if they can bring the salad.
Patty looks like your incharge of making the garlic bread.
Have a safe and Merry Christmas and I'll see everyone in one week.

trishaanne

Garlic bread it is...with cheese and without, so all bases are covered. I also have been baking, making candy and caramel/cashew popcorn, so it looks like snacks are well covered too. Maybe I'll throw a pan of chicken parm into the mix, just for fun. See y'all next week!

Vlad

Any chance of a doughnut?

trishaanne
12-26-2007, 01:39 PM
For you my friend, of course. I'll be sure to have you a full breakfast when you get here.....if you get here before everyone else that is. ;)

slightlymad
12-26-2007, 09:08 PM
SO can I bring anything?

trishaanne
12-26-2007, 11:07 PM
Yeah, bring your wife! And maybe some, um, well, looks like we've got it covered this month. We'll let you take care of next month!

slightlymad

What!! No Donna !!! I guess there's no sense in planning a road trip then.

We have two new members coming tomorrow. Be nice Pattie.

Count on bringing along your unfinished headstones. The new couple have headstones as a priority for this coming year. We'll start them off on some new ones, and be finishing off ours in the process.

Ms. Wicked
12-28-2007, 06:03 PM
You've tricked new, unsuspecting people ?

Black Cat
12-29-2007, 08:30 AM
How about that Ms. Wicked. Yes we have two newbies coming today. They seemed a little surprised when I told them we meet at 11am and it doesn't end til say around 10 or 11pm.
Working on getting all the supplies together this morning and load the car. Hopefully we won't hit a ton of traffic on the way down to Pattie's.

Vlad

WooooooooooooooHooooooooooo It's gathering day!!!!!! Leaving in 5 minutes!

trishaanne
12-29-2007, 10:53 AM
OH NO......that means they should be here any minute! Better go do another check and make sure the perimeter is secure! Ladder hidden....check. PVC cement hidden....check. All sharp objects moved...check. Buy Vlad donuts so he doesn't blow torch my house...check. I'm sure I'm forgetting something..if you don't hear from me by tomorrow, call 911 and given them my address! :p

trishaanne

Well, we survived yesterday. The new folks were great and we really enjoyed having them there. Sorry that One of the Devils Rejects couldn't join us, we missed you Donna! Most of us were on our best behavior so I think the newbies were lulled into a false sense of security and may join us again..:zombie: And Jeff, just to let you know that I'm not exaggerating when I say things about Vlad, somehow my cordless phone disappeared at the end of the night and I had to call them this morning to find out where they hid it so I could charge it! It just wouldn't be Christmas without having to hide EVERYTHING from your haunt buddies!
