I picked up Killswitch Engage's new album The End of Heartache yesterday. Wow. That's all I can say. I never thought that they'd be able to match the greatness of their previous effort Alive or Just Breathing, but they did. They also managed to snag a new singer and make it work, which so many other bands never manage to do too successfully.

I heard numerous tracks off this album before it was released and it is damn good.
Pick up Blood Has Been Shed- Spirals. Howard Jones also sings for this band.
You should also check out: All That Remains, Beyond The Embrace and Byzantine.
Killswitch and Inflames are doing a show at the Palladium in Worcester soon.

This album is definitely an EXCELLENT addition to the metal genre. It not only has great heavy riffs with some shredding overtones, but it also has some great melodic songs. I liked the original singer of KsE, but I think Howard Jones is even better. He's got great range, and has hints of Mike Patton in his voice.
This is a definite must by for any metal fan, and as Non Compos mentioned, I also suggest All That Remains. More great riffs, shreds, and solos.
It is a great time to be a metal fan! (especially in the Massachusetts metal scene!)
