This was my new big project for 2007
http://www.firediving.com/halloween2007/pirate_cage_01b.jpg
There was a wireless camera in the head that transmitted to a monitor in the house. This allowed the pirate to see and hear. There was a wireless microphone in the house which allowed the pirate to speak. The mouth moved when the pirate spoke. The whole thing allowed me to interact with the crowd.

what kind of wireless camera did you use?
could that be hooked up to record then also?
I would love to do something like this

I got my camera from spycameras.com . It come with RCA jacks so hooking it up to a VCR would be no problem.
I have just completed a protoype for a two axis bucky head and bought a remote control system so I will be adding motion to the skull. This will allow the person in the house to move the head to follow people and look down at some of the smaller kids.
