Does anyone know where to get high-quality masks for the old Universal Frankenstein, Wolf Man, and Dracula?

I have old figurines that I love and I was thinking of building life-size figures of them this year for halloween, but obviously most of the detail is in the face.

Anyone know where to get them?

Mr. Chicken's Frankenstein is fantastic, but I think he did it all himself, and I have no artistic ability.

I have read most of the threads on fog chillers.
I haven't seen any Vortex (reverse vortex) chillers made from a trash can.
Is it a bad idea? you see, I am cheap and I can get a trash can for under $10.
Any thoughts?

My name is Erich and I live in Southern California.
I have been lurking for a while and thought I should introduce myself.
There is lots of great info here and I will have questions.
I have been decorating for 3 years now and you know how it goes, bigger and better next year.
I thought this would be a good time to get started for this year.

Looks like Electronics123 is watching what we're doing with their products and have added PIR and light sensor triggers to the 300 second audio boards we've been using. You can now have a single, stand alone, triggered audio player for $25 which is a great deal. I haven't tried one yet but will be including one in my next order.

i finaly got something done

This year i'm stepping up my display big time. First of all i'm going from a display to a full walk through haunt. Secondly, i'm changing themes from paranormal/ ghosts to zombie apocalypse/ military base. Heres what i'm planning on doing

A disaster severity level system corresponding to my set up schedule (The higher the threat level, the more props i put out)

A crashed helicopter (I need ideas on how to make this)

A decontamination room

Fake security surveillance camera footage "Live"

Amber colored lighting, sirens, alarms, flashing lights, fake fire.

The story line is that the government took over my house as a research lab/refuge center. Any thoughts on my theme or any suggestions? Thanks in advanced!

Hello my fellow Haunters! How is everyone doing. Well its getting ever more closer that all in important day of......scaring the crap out of little kids.....Buaaha, Buaaha, <insert evil laugh>. Let’s be honest the real reason we do this is basically we are artist in our own way.

"Walkers"
We create to inspire a feeling or thought. That is art and what fun art it is right? We get to be as creative and open minded as we want. We take trash and turn it into beauty and we take that which is cheap and turn it into a thing of value. And what is the value dare you say? Why it is simply the mere understanding that you planed, experienced failures and completed something that did not exist before and that which has a sole purpose. That purpose is to reach out to the minds of every single "walker" (that is what I call "them" those that beg for treats) to create the image of a dark chilled night filled in with the shades of darkness that appear to be direct portals to hell allowing evil and fear to rule the night. It is about creating a space that inspires the feeling of fear creeping into their veins and chilling their skin. It’s the knowing that there exist an unknown and its what is unknown that awakens the soul. The brain cycles through questions attempting to rationalize the fear in a way to discount it....... but you can’t. Your soul trembles and that cannot be ignored. For its the fear of the unknown lurking in the shadows that send waves of horror to the center of our core. That my friend is when you know you are afraid. As the heart quickens its beat and the breath is becoming ever more short and laboring. That is the value that we create. The feeling of being alive and realizing a willingness to fight for it. That is art and I have going to enjoy doing it with you. Happy Halloween.....

Rain or shine, I will be doing a make in take in late June or early July at my new place. I will have a garage to work in, so no project is off the table!

Who has some ideas on a project to work on? Let's also start talking about dates.
