Glad to hear all is good up your way. I think I would've been freaking out if my shutters flew off my house, tho. LOL Seems like everybody is getting wicked weather lately. We've had a couple of serious thunderstorms come thru and knock power out for a little while. This area has been in a real bad drought for the past few summers, so it's unusal for us to even get rain this time of year. But, I can't complain; it's nice having green grass and it not making a crunching sound when you walk on it. LOL

Thanks Erin. The thunder lighting was achieved with 2 large strobe lights hanging in the trees opposite each other. These were synced with DMX so our thunder sounds were timed to go off at the same time. Our method was pretty expensive but there are other ways to achieve this effect without DMX. There is a thunder/lighting box sold that you should look for. It wasn't very expensive maybe $30-$40. I think I remember seeing a thread on the other forum about this so take a look.

It was just for looks but at the end of the night people had pried all of the softballs off and throw them. Each one was held down with like a half stick of hot glue. Persistent Trick or Treaters I guess.

Glad to hear you are doing better. Yes I am a little nervous that we won't have everything done. As long as the major stuff is finished that will be good. Not alot to do on projects just alot of unfinished projects. But between the two of us we should have most of it finished. I hope LOL

Glad you like them. Dave put alot of time and work into those, too bad they didn't arrive as they left... the paint rubbing off was a disappointment but probably no one would notice it unless they saw the original. Yeah alot of people around here are sick, hopefully Dave and I won't get it....
