Hey there, a Google search brought me to you. I'm looking for a low-tech way to have skull props whose jaws can be manually operated. (singing to Monster Mash in show). I know you did a tutorial a long time ago but I couldn't find it here. I have two plastic skulls with jaws hinged with a screw. I figured some kind of rubber band or spring to keep the jaw closed and then maybe fishing line to pull the jaw down. Don't know if that will work or not. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was just thinking it had been awhile since I rattled your chain, I see it was way back in January. Anyway, been doing ok. Lost time in July and August due to the heat and humidity. I bearly got outdoor much less any prop work done. So that means everything is about normal for this time of year. A mild feeling of panic, but should be ready to set up by the 22nd. Better start working on those kids thou, give them skellies to play with and show them how to do paper mache without eating the glue. lol. Great hearing from you. Happy Halloween to you and the family.

Hey Sickie Ickie, I have recently created a new Social Group called "ScareRookies" The group is mainly for newbees such as myself to the art of yard haunting. I am looking to build up the group and would very much like veteran haunters as well to help with questions, suggestions etc. Sort of a metoring program. It is also to help new members find a place that is host to other newbees. I am in the process of trying to organzie an online make it\take it to start a project that the new members can try. I very much hope that you would be willing to join. Check it out...

Just checking in on ya. Just seen the first sign of spring here. The wooly mammoths are starting to migrate back north to canada. Looking forward to going into prop mod again. Started tearing down some junked out toys for parts. Hope all is well at your end.

I need some info. I want to make some eyes with UV LEDs set into hot glue. Is there a UV hot glue or is glow in the dark hot glue the same thing?

That's right, you do have quite a little crew of future haunters at your house:) Hopefully things will start to settle and you can get back into the swing of things now.
