On the haunted house we're working on someone wanted to make a prop where an actor would pop out of a couch. Has anyone tried this before? We're wondering if there's a good way of doing it where the actor won't get too tired too quickly. Also is there a way of doing it without totally gutting the couch?
Get a free couch from Freecycle.org or curbies, or a very cheap one from the thrift store. And gut it, lol. And if your actor does get tired, get a double and let them switch out every 10-15 minutes.
Methinks someone has moved up from recliner mechanisms to sofa mechanisms. LOL, Drake, just go ahead and send that bed mechanism to Dave!
