MA Make and Take Early September

Hey MA Haunters!

I hope Joe (Lotus) doesn't mind that I took the reigns on this one...

Denhaunt and I were discussing doing a make and take in early September... preferably the first weekend of the month. The item of interest this time around is making hands and/or heads from silicone rubber! I am willing to host again as I think I'm the most centrally located person in the group, but if anyone else wants to host we might be able to work it out.

There will be a cost for materials of approximately $45/person for this one, but that will get about five head sized projects so it's totally worth it.

Who's interested?

If you are interested, reply here and contact either myself or Denhaunt about how to pay for materials. We will take a head count and if enough people are interested, we will collect the money ahead of time to purchase materials. Please only reply you are coming if you can afford to pay for this project ahead of time.

I think Kaoru and I can go if we can shoot for a Sunday. I've been VERY interested in working with silicon for a while now.

Im in all depends on school tho but I am sure I can move my schedule around

Didn't bring this up to me when I was up most of the day today did yah?

Yeah IF you guys can do a Sunday Make and Take I would like to go. Unfortunately definately can't make a Saturday. I have the day off that last saturday of August for my parents 40th anniversary. Any saturday are a no go for the month of September.

Anyone have issues with it being on Labor Day weekend?

I don't think I can do it that weekend. I know I have a BBQ at my mother-in-law's (shudder) one of the days that weekend. I can find out and get back to you.

Too bad about Labor Day weekend, doesn't Spirit open that weekend? We could have made a group fieldtrip to Spirit part of the MnT heheh.
