Big halloween party Fiday night and I'm STRESSED!

I have about 50 people coming Friday Night, props/lights are all working fine but due to high winds for three days I haven't been able to do a good "trial" run. :(

the place looks great (outside haunt) and what topped it off was a Lightning Controller from I-Zombie, that is a awesome Product. My fear is bad weather/breakdowns right before the party. Not to mention the need for calm winds for my Fog Chiller to be of use.

OK, rant is over, thanks for listening.:D

whatever the weather, just pretent it is exactically what you wanted to happen and nobody will know the difference.
The point of a party is to have a good time. This includes you, so don't stress. ( Easier said than done). Most of your guests are not 'halloween people' so they will look at your display, comment on how awesome it is and they wish they could do something like that themselves. Then they are going to start drinking. That is when the party commences.

Have fun on Saturday. Good luck.
In the same boat with wind and weather. I am not worried about break downs, thing have been working well for days. On the Stressed out part.. Yeah I am there..
Tried the big party, invitation, RSVP etc a few years ago and I didn't have fun! To busy worring about who would show, where was the dang caterer, do we have enough or to much food etc..
This year I just told people we were having an open house Sat and Sun night.. stop by, have something to eat and drink. If we run out of food.. oh well first come First serve.. if no one shows up.. the homeless shelter will get hot roat beef for dinner Monday! I am going to try and enjoy myself this year and not worry about anything! Good luck with your event and try to chill out and have fun! You can't stop the wind and the weather man is almost always wrong!

The breakdows don't concern me as much, my stuff has been running for days as well but some of the electronics I use outside gets a little squirelly when wet:D ....At least my Seance plan inside is safe. I had Mike Fox do a voice over for me and man is that guy GOOD! I just hope none of my guests end up with heart issues from it.
Just enjoy yourself. These folks know what the weather has been doing.

Shrug your shoulders - and drink a beer! Everyone is there to have a good time.
