I've added some convention dates to the calendar. You can set your account up to remind you ahead of time about these events by going to the Calendar, browsing to an event's date, and clicking on the "Request reminder for this event" link.

The current day's events will also be listed on the main forums page near the bottom below the "Who's Online" section.

If you have an event you know about that isn't listed, please PM me or send me an e-mail with the date of the event and the event's home page.

True - the mini calendar at the bottom of the page shows January, but clicking on it won't give you the large version.

P.S. We still get a "Happy Thanksgiving" greeting when we log on, too

I have fixed the date range of the calendar.

I can't seem to recreate the Thanksgiving message. This leads me to think that it must be getting loaded from your computer's cache. Clear your cache (sometimes called browsing history) and it will probably go away.
