I don't have much time this year, but I am thinking about a candy making machine. The full version, which I may have to pare down, would have a cauldron creep turning a crank to a box with rotating gears and circular knives. There will be a funnel at the top where I will be dropping in mice, rats and spiders and other bugs (and some sugar, of course). The candy will come out a conveyor belt. An eyeball will be inspecting each candy bar on the conveyor belt for rejects. Some form of claw will swipe the rejects off the conveyor belt and the candy will drop into a shoot for the kids to collect. I just made my first piece of reject candy. There is a magnet in there to trigger a magnetic switch so that the system can tell the real candy from the rejects. I should have started a month ago, but here we go...
