Has anyone found a place to get cheap cemetary pillars, meaning tall collums I can put as an opening to my graveyard this year? I have looked through pics from the different stores but not finding anything. I am having a graveyard in the woods and would love to make the enterance look good as cost effective as possible. Thanks
I just used concrete pouring tubes (I have no idea what they're actually called, haha), added a square piece of wood to the top of them, painted them, and touched up with moss and light up pumpkins.
It was really cheap, and I love how they turned out. : )
I'm planning on making mine out of cardboard boxes scavenged from work with 1x2 or 2x2 wood inside for structural integrity. I'm hoping for $5 to $10 a piece. I'll post pics when I finish them.
You can also wrap these concrete tubes with the real thin white styro sheet (no more than 1/2 inch thick). That way you can "hot carve" stone, brick or whatever pattern you want into it.
