Yes, yes, I know. This has already sort of been decided on film. Nevertheless, I and others of my ilk are not satisfied with results for one reason or another. Thus, we shall decide it here. Submitted for your approval:

Godzilla vs. King Kong!

The monster match to end all monster match-ups. If these two were to ever clash on a physical plane of existence, many cities, countries and continents would be devastated. One is a thermonuclear, fire-breathing four hundred foot tall screaming reptile that has been the veteran of many "versus" films. The other is an exiled gorilla god from Skull Island who kills dino's, slays natives of uncivilized countries and New York and rescues hot blonde bombshells, all before breakfast. Worlds are about to collide. Which film is the better? You decide!

Like Spaulding sez, get out and see the '33 version like Pronto! Zilly, could incinerate the big ape if it came right down to an all out brawl, but this isn't about who would win in a bout of fisticuffs, but rather about which film is the better of the two. That's all this forum is about. :p

I voted for Kong in that respect. I have a definite affinity for the big lug, since this is the very first film I saw on the big screen EVER.

Time once again for the mid-week reminder. Zilly is flagging badly. The mighty ape is laying the proverbial smack down on the atomic dino. If you want to help Japan's greatest import out, I suggest you do so before Saturday.

Everybody loves the Big Monkey. It comes as no surprise that Kong walks away with this oneHe goes on to face Creech in the quarters, a battle I'm certain won't be as one-sided.
