I have this idea,
I want to make a large coffin for Halloween BUT for the rest of the year I want to use it as a 2nd closet, on wheels and put a removeable bar in it to hang my clothes or whatever.
What kind of wood should I use? I want it to be sturdy and look nice. any suggestions?

Well, three ideas come to mind. 1, put the clothes rod into holders on the side. That way it can be taken in and out without screwing and unscrewing. 2nd, place the bottom of the coffin on a large flat base that's attached. If using a toe pincher, you don't want the reduced diameter to make your closet unstable. 3, you may not want to place the coffin outside during Hallow's Eve. Dirt and whatever else may contaminate it for closet use.

plywood sheets.. they have different thickness' of these.
what ever wood you are going to use it will be heavy, even with wheels.
Or you can go the slat type design..there are a few thread on coffins I believe..maybe seach will help.

fibreboard... kinda hard to cut sometimes plus doesn't sand well, my coffin is made of this and is real heavy.
there may be other woods to use but I don't know names of them.
