Whew.... Ok... here is what i did... I made the wings with metal tubing that i got freecycle... and added nylon spacers over the cotter pins for the joints in the wings. Then painted on carpet latex over the beef netting which is glued to the fabric tubes covering the metal... I screwed them into the painted pvc, which was also screwed together. I sewed the clothes like a hospital gown and then ripped and snipped it... The hands were made from the coated wires from inside the metal tubing, then mached and painted... and stuffed into styrofoam which was then glued into the pvc arms... The head has a hole in the bottom so i stuck a piece of a pvc fitting inside the hole... whew.... if i have forgotten anything please let me know... Thanks for looking :>
Oh... here are some links to other pics of the scarebat. The first link is the one pic with the tape measure... It locks and is locked at 72 inches. :>
