Aaahhh...Phoebe Cates! Now, there is a woman born to be a Vampire, right Pact?
Good points all, Brad. I, just happened to like
Interview With the Vampire. It was a helluva lot better than that godawful sequel,
Queen of the Damned. At least the former was closer to the book than the latter. "Queen" didn't even resemble the story from which it was derived in any way, shape or form.
Phoebe!..Howl!!! ..sorry.
I had to chime in here.
Interview With The Vampire is an amazing film. I doubt you will ever see a vampire movie with such high production values, and the subject taken so seriously. It overcame so many obstacles too. Anne's wrath over Tom Cruise being cast. Tom Cruise surprising us all with a nasty turn as Lestat. River Phoenix's death,as he was to be "the interviewer". The absolute nightmare it must have been to cast Claudia;and the home-run they hit with Kirsten Dunst's performance. Watch her..and tell yourself this is an eleven year old girl..unbelievable. *11 yrs old when they shot. 12yrs when it was released; for sticklers.
Can I please add "Vamp" to your list,Sinister?
I like'em those Greg Cannom make-up effects.
