My buddy and I are thinking about opening up a candy shop. Anyone know where I can get food grade silicone to mold with so we can pour melted chocolate into it?

Is plastic for candle molds safe to use?

Food Grade Silicone

2 lb FG Kit SOFT 7 shore A durometer mold making silicone.

This FG - Catalyst systems main application is indirect food contact applications governed by CFR 177.2600.
NOTE: any compositional deviation will result in the material being non-compliant. This applies to off ratio mixing as well as use of additives.
IDEAL for making molds for the casting of Chocolate , Candy , Dough and other Gourmet Food Reproductions

I dont know if they have a web site But i use a company called American Industrial Supply for all my food grade chemicals. While they are on the high side of prices the prodcuts are quality and stand up well to the ABUSE that the 4 kitchens here get. Besides the reps are usually cute and entertaining.
