I went to a garage sale across the street today and introduced myself to a neighbor that I have never spoken to.
"Hi, I'm Carolyn. I live in the house across the street that always looks bad" (my weed-eater broke)

Response: "You're the Halloween witch. You have the best yard in the neighborhood"

My response:

The same thing happened a couple months ago.
I introduced myself and pointed to the house I live in.
Response "You have all the Halloween decorations"

My response:

My decorating skills are still emerging. I can't do what others do on this forum but it is nice to know people appreciate the effort.

I was so happy that I thought I would share.

BTW
I scored a metal candle chandelier for $2.00 today. Looks like I can turn it into a cool halloween decoration.
