Welcome to the forum! Don't let the number of people you got discourage you. Over time, you'll build up that number, mostly through word of mouth as well as by posting signs.
I found having a cemetery up and on display in the front yard for most of the month is the best advertising. At night, with lighting on it, you'll get alot of people stopping by to look and if you were to post a sign on the fence or in another area where people can see, you'll probably get more on the big night.

I have never posted on halloweenforum.com, but have posted it on methodzofmadness.com. Thanks for the comments too
