Freddy Krueger and the murderous Firefly clan both make their second appearances on HMDM. Can Krueger sneak in the demented *******'s dreams and show them who's the real king of cut n' slash? Or will Capt. Spaulding and his merry band of miscreants pull Freddy's burnt ass out to our reality and subject him to hours of fun in their infamous torture chamber? Get in and vote for your favorite movie maniacs and lets get this show on the road.

I know it's all a matter of opinion and preference, but I'm curious as to why you think HO1KC is better than "Rejects"? Until I viewed The Descent I thought it to be the best Horror film of 2005. I did not feel the same about Zombie's first effort.

As for my choice in the game, Zombie's second feature film definitely gets the nod. This flick is great from start to finish. Funny, horrific and none of those arsty angles that seemed to be more of a distraction than an advantage to the first film. Although "Dream Warriors" is the best sequel in the "Nightmare" series, you could see where the series entire was about to slip through the cracks into the realm of mediocrity. Being merely good won't win you any contest against an excellent film like The Devil's Rejects though. So my vote goes to the psycho hillbilly's.

I guess, like I've mentioned before, the other things that go on in the movie, acting, make-up, set design and so on. This (1000 corpses) was a little darker and I loved the set. That tunnel of corpses was way cool, love to do that in my Haunt. We'll see if I can pull that off this year (fingers crossed).

The Devil's Rejects completely blew me away. The Nightmare on Elm Street series is just good, campy horror fun. For me, comparing the two is like comparing Pulp Fiction to Better Off Dead. Rejects is by far the better film. And Rob Zombie rules. Freakin' rules.

Anyone else want in on the carnage? You have a limited time to get in and get a piece of the action. Tomorrow or the next day, this particular poll closes.

The match goes to The Devil's Rejects. The Firefly clan goes on to face Jason Voorhees in the quarterfinals. This thread is now closed.
