How to build a conveyor belt?

I've seen in some haunts that people have built conveyor belts that carry props around a track suspended from the ceiling. I was wonder how I could build one of these, relatively small in length, powered by people or machine.

There was a thread about Overhead Tracks but I don't know if that helps you. Are you wanting to do a butcher shop sort of thing?
