I know nothing about animitronics, or the pnuematic stuff.

But I just finished everything (except paint) on a coffing I am building for my cemetery. Originaly I was going to have one of my skulls kind of peaking out from under the lid, and run a light in there.
Now Im thinking I would actually like the skulls head to move up, and down raising and lowering the lid.
Any ideas on how to do this cheaply, and easily?

Thanks in advance
Shane

try taking apart some old electronics that you dont use anymore.

You would be amazed at how many decent motors that could run an up down motion easily you can find

If not, try a wiper motor from MECI or electronic surplus. It works for rasaing an entire skeleton so it should work on just a skull and coffin lid

1. Oscillating fan turned on it's side, with a straightened coat hanger as a pushrod.
2. Rotisserie motor from junkyard or goodwill, attach a rod with a flex joint as a pushrod
3. Inexpensive rotary motor from somewhere like www.deathlord.net, again with a flex-joint pushrod
