I like allmy props and so forth, but I need one last prop for this year, something crazy. I have about 2x7 pink 1" foam i would use for it...

I dont know what to make though. Perhaps a large grave? like 5 foot obelisk?

it doesnt have to be with the foam...im just tryin to get an idea of what to do. any ideas?

i cant do mm or great stuff. im decent at mache. im artistic and good with spray paint. ideas? i didnt see anything on the monserlist...yet..

I started a haunt sign on foam last night. It says

Montgomery Manor
Abandon all Hope, Ye who
Enter Here.

I "chisseled" it out and am going to make it look like "wood"

I am not quite sure how I will hang it, but I figure, I can figure that out once its complete - will take a while.

I aslo am adding a bucky bart hand and a few bones to it... wonder where I got that idea? LOL

YOu may want to make another sign or a notice that guides your people, or notice for candy etc...

A bleeding tombstone would be fun if you could find a cheap pump.... check out www.mourningcemetery.com for a bleeding tombstone idea....

Have you tried the bottomless pit? You could use the foam there and every year people comment on how cool it is

You mentioned the Obelisk so I'll share my newest thought, although I doubt I will get to it this year.

I have been saving my scraps of foam, even the real small ones to do a patch work style of Obelisk. Basically going to take all of the fragments, making sure they all have broken edges and will then glue them altogether. I will probably use bamboo skewers to also hold pieces together and will create an obelisk shape. Then weather it like I would any tombstone. The result should be a ton of cracks showing through to the inside of the obelisk. Then I will light it from the bottom. Perhaps a bit of flicker as well... My theory would be that it will look like something truly evil is breaking its way through and will soon get out. Well that would be how I intend it to look.

Just my newest thought Hope that at least offers something to think about.
