Thank You all so much for the kind remarks. I really do appreciate them.
Making Mr. Lo Pan was quite the experience for me, I had not done anything in this scale with Monster Mud before.
Wow! This is really an original piece; I don't think I've seen anything else like it. It's really creepy in it's own way....it looks like it might get up and talk to you. Congratulations on another great prop!
That is absolutely unbelievable... amazing job! Not only is it a very unique idea for a character, its extremely realistic... i have been examining the hands over and over because they look so real
NICE! I'm stunned! I get the MM part and the chicken wire and pvc and all that, but how did you make the hands and eyes? Eyes like that alone cost $50. The hands are killer realistic too. You must share!
Thank you all.
HZ, I molded the hands from my own hands in Flexwax, and cast them from 2 part polyurethane foam and then painted them with an airbrush and a paper towel. The eyes are roll-on deodorant balls, that I painted by hand.
Most excellent! Unless someone pulls something pretty incredible out of their...um...hat, you'll have my vote. Did ya take progress pics? I love to see an artist at work.
Thank you for the comments and kind remarks everyone.
Lilly, I store it in a shed with a few props I cannot if into my basement anymore. Im running out of room.
As always, the lighting in the picture is fantastic. You sure do know how to compose a picture. The prop is fantastic as well, but as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Well done.
