We assembled our 2017 home made "mini" mausoleum prop today in our garage and put our smaller standing mannequin prop dressed as a devil inside and tested the new wave effect flood light we installed in the front top header of the mausoleum. We were happy with how it looked in daylight, but there are also battery powered red LED eyes installed on the foam head inside the devil mask and battery powered flame effect lights installed on the ceiling of the mausoleum that are not turned on. This prop combo is what we call our "greeter" prop because it stands to the side of the entrance of our front walkway on Halloween. We're hoping it has a nice "Wow!" factor for our Hell themed haunt this year. In 2017 the mausoleum had a "bat in the belfry" tower for a vampires & werewolves theme. We benched the mausoleum for our 2018 haunt, but when we brought it back out for 2019 for our ghost themed haunt, we modified the tower portion to just be a roof cap on the top of the mausoleum. We did a carnival theme last year, so the mausoleum sat out again. The skull plaque on the header of the mausoleum is a new addition for 2021.

Really nice! The mausoleum does a good job of showcasing the character.
