[Gothic Nightmare]

Ok, time for me to tap the talented minds of haunt forum.

I want to make a large prop out of a portable basketball goal. I figure an evil scarecrow would be cool, although I'm still open to other ideas as well.

I know I've seen pics from other people doing this, but I can't find anything anywhere. I remember Eric and Haunted Overload had one on their site, but I can't find it anymore.

My time and funds are very limited at the moment, and I'd rather not re-invent the wheel, if you know what I mean. No time or money for trial and error.

Anyone done this, or do you know of a site that has some easy plans? The head/arms/chest area integrating with the backboard is my main concern.

Screw scrape lumber right to the back board and dress. Okay that sound to simple but thats what I would do cute down old skids and dress the head could be a flat basket ball etc.

Thanks slightlymad. I'm not totally sure what you were trying to say, but screwing wood to the backboard is not an option. I can't ruin my b-ball hoop.

I would use C clamps on the framework to hold my lumber.

He uses his telephone poles though haha, so they're considerably HUGER.
But yeah, C Clamp the wood to the backboard I guess.
I also assumed you wouldn't mind messing up the hoop haha, but if you don't want to then use C Clamps.

Thanks Scare FX, thats what I was talking about. For some reason I couldn't find it. My faith in Haunt Forum has been renewed.

EvilQueen - he is the grandaddy of all home haunts. Best in the country for many years. They have had a lot of media attention. They have gone pro now.
