its going to be in the corner one side
You can use a sheet of plastic window insulation for about $5 if you don't mind hiding the frame. The problem with using a projector is that the ghost will be 2D. A true Pepper's Ghost is 3D but reqires an actor hidden from view.
Thanks GOT its going in the back corner so its only gonna be seen from one veiw can't hire actors none of my freinds would go
Note that you don't project onto the glass, but that you reflect the projection screen in the glass, so you'll need to stage it to hide the projection screen.
This video explains things (disregard the commercial-part in the beginning - start at 1:12) :

that video helps alot thank you and i will see what i can do MC maybe i will just use a tv and a old window i found and set it all up but any ideas on how to set it up as to make it look like the lady is sewing
Keep in mind that if the illusion is going to appear to interact with a real physical object (the factory machines) you'll have to control your sight lines carefully. If the machine moves in relation to the ghost (or vice versa) as your guests walk by it will become obvious that the ghost is a projection & the illusion will be spoiled. Your best bet would be to have the scene only visible from a small area as your guests walk by. Having the ghost's torso & arms constantly moving can help mask the difference in viewing angle, too. I can't wait to see video of this - I love Pepper's ghosts.
It's also worth considering doing it like the organist int he Haunted Mansion ballroom (an animatronic reflected in the glass. That would give you the full 3D effect.
thanks everyone those are amazing ideas i am really excited about this project i am gonna build a plate that uses the machine foot pedals to turn them on when people walk bye that might distract people for the illusion too
You could just "flash" the ghost into the scene. That way it would not be obvious if things don't match exactly. Match her with some lightning flashes.
What is a pepper's ghost?
It's an illusion of a ghostlike (see-through) effect, using a reflection of an object or person on a glass or plastic plate.

Cool thanks
