Yep, second nod to Radio Shack's boxes. Some of the larger stand alone stores may have more, but even the small mall stores have them. Many shapes and sizes, plastic, metal, or both, and also a good source for switches and relays.

I am actually using a large plastic tool box I picked up from Lowes. They had it clearanced for $12 and it had a tape measure, utility knife, and a multibit screwdriver in the top (all included). Its made by Stanley, so I figured it was ok for the tools, as I'm used to Snap on and Mac.
Its works great for keeping my varipet with all of the external leads already attached. All I have to do is open the lid, plug in my props that are controlled, and plug in my A/C supply dropcord, close the lid and its more protected from the elements. Hope this may help, Ray

I just received two FREE project boxes from this website.

Just pick two that you would like and fill out the form. You'll have to state what company you work for....pick a large one. Thats what I did. These boxes are extremely well made. Got the link from a forum member on another site. Halloweenbob, thankyou!

Found a cool water tight plastic box at Home Depot in the electrical section. They keep them with the plastic conduit parts. They aren't exactly cheap, but they are heavy duty (about an 1/8 inch thick) and have a rubber seal. I figured I've spent hundreds on servo boards and my Light-o-rama stuff, why cheap out now and try to save $20 by using a rubber maid container ? Plus it'll keep them safe for years to come.
