Hey all!

Hope this is the right place.

So i do a haunt for my church. It is in the upstairs of a barn so we have very limited room. Because of this we have decided to make our pallet walls slide to not only trap our guest in at one point but to also change the layout.

So my question is any suggestions on how to make the walls slide easy? it needs to be durable cause it will be sliding a lot through out the night.

neat idea..i would think you need a guide rail or track above & wheels on the bottom of your pallet walls.

you might be able to diy some angle iron into the same configuration

another option is to use pins like a bi-fold closet door.
maybe gate/door bolts like this.

pins let you swing/pivot a door, rails let you slide it..maybe a combined system.

Don't put wheeles on the bottom. I find the best sliding doors hang on a rail from the top. Easy to do and very smooth when done right.

You might be able to use cheap casters or wheels from harbor freight and some cheap pipe from the hardware store as a top rail.

i think you need a guide rail above and wheels on the bottom of your pallet walls.

saikanduri - welcome to the forum. But hopefully the OP figured out a process - since posting in this 2015 and 'last seen' on the forum June 2016.
