Tournament de Tombstone Discussion

This is the thread for the discussion of our second challenge for the year 2006... the Tournament de Tombstone. The focus of this contest is building a tombstone.

I'm looking for some input as to what rules and guidelines we should have for this one. I'm thinking a price limitation, maybe a size limitation and possibly one other limitation to make this a bit of a challenge.

Jeff has also offered to donate another prize for this one. Do we want to do this one for a prize, or just limit that to the $20 Challenge (which will be repeated again next year)?

Feel free to post all your thoughts and ideas and then I'll formulate the rules thread on April 15th. This thread will remain open through the duration of the contest much like the thread for the $20 Prop Challenge thread did.

Yea, and you can't use yourr winning prop as a tombstone. Don't dress stumpy as a tombstone and enter that. That is just no fair. LOL.
LOL
Though, now that I'm thinking of it... maybe epitaphs should be included if you guys want to.

Thats completely up to you your the final decision on the rules, But dont let the lettering and and names make or break a vote. Curious about no lights like krough and halloweenrick mentioned also......can it be made of wood instead foam? Im having probs finding foam.
is it going to be ok if i make out of concrete?

Sorry, I don't have picture of mine. I had glued on 5 layers of foam a few days ago. Today I was able to put that on the base of the tombstone. And I just started the design of the book part of the tombstone.
Knowing you DT your stone is gonna rock!
its been june 30th since the first time zombie brought this up in chat .:D
this might sound stupid but ....the ones that go over 30 bucks loose a vote.....its like boxing groin hit lose point ...doesnt mean you lost fight ....set a limit for how much can go over though like 30 bucks min. and 33 max. that way more get to enter even if go over by a few bucks...but still have a penalty.......over 3 bucks then your out
hey all remember the last contest the tension feeling i lost big time what did you all say ...said it was for fun and you have another prop.......who cares who wins when its not fun .....it turns into a job ...........
its like yall are forgeting the meaning of this.....he did that for 20 or 30 bucks geeezz....if he can do it ....i can do it .....got that at garage sale....found in garbge etc.......make somthing from nothing ......its all about ideas ideas ideas.....hell we are all winners
